The main component of Penegra is Sildenafil, which enhances the response to sexual stimulation by relaxing smooth muscles via nitric oxide. This increases blood flow to the penis, leading to an erection. Sildenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension, and may have other uses.
Take Penegra orally with water about 0.5-1 hour before sexual activity. Do not exceed one dose per day. High-fat meals may delay its effects. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice during treatment.
Before taking Sildenafil, inform your doctor if you have any allergies. Elderly patients may experience increased sensitivity to side effects.
Penegra is contraindicated for patients taking other impotence medications or nitrate drugs for chest pain. It is not for women or children and should be avoided by those with known hypersensitivity to its components.
Common side effects include headache, flushing, heartburn, and dizziness. Serious allergic reactions are rare but require immediate medical attention. Contact your doctor if you notice any unlisted side effects.
