Imitrex pill eliminates headaches and migraines. Prompt drug treatment allows patients to return to normal life and can reduce the need for taking other drugs.
This drug should be used when a headache occurs, and not as an early prevention. Use only as directed by the doctor. Daily Imitrex dosage should not exceed 100 mg. Do not use the drug twice for two hours. The duration of treatment is prescribed by a physician.
Warnings:
This drug is not used to prevent migraine attacks.
For disorders of the liver and kidneys, use with extreme caution and only as prescribed by a doctor, as well as in patients with epilepsy or other disorders of brain function.
The following attacks may occur - pain, a feeling of tightness in the chest. In this regard, it should not be used in case of suspected undiagnosed cardiovascular and cardiovascular diseases, prior to the relevant examination.
Safety and efficacy of use in children and adolescents under the age of 18 years has not been established.
With migraine, as well as during therapy, drowsiness may develop. Therefore, during the period of use, patients should be extremely careful to drive and engage in other potentially dangerous activities that require a high reaction rate.
Experience of using the Imitrex medication during pregnancy is limited and therefore is contraindicated for use.
Should be used with caution during lactation.

dizziness, weakness and drowsiness.
hypotension or short-term increase in blood pressure and tachycardia.
nausea and vomiting.
skin rash, erythema, itching.
